There are three levels of mental health awareness. The first is the level of awareness that we have of what are “good” and “bad” thoughts and behaviors. This is where we learn how to act more or less rationally, how to identify when we are in bad habits, and what to do about it. In other words, we get better at recognizing and avoiding bad habits.
Mental health awareness is the next level of mental health awareness. At this level, it’s difficult to not be influenced by thoughts that we don’t like, or beliefs that we don’t want to believe. It’s difficult to do the right thing in these negative situations, and it’s easier to just not care. We become better at identifying the thought that we are going to be negative or have bad habits, and then we can choose to do something about it.
Self-awareness is about identifying thoughts and feelings that we don’t like but we do want to recognize. This is why we can’t just hit the bottle and forget about stuff. If we don’t learn to self-talk about our negative experiences, they’ll always be there and we’ll never get better.
We often hear about people who have trouble with mental health issues. Those who suffer from depression or anxiety disorders or bipolar disorder, for example, have a hard time finding the motivation to do things. At the same time, I think many people who are dealing with these issues end up being very good at identifying what they don’t like or dislike about themselves, and instead of talking about it, they just stop. It isn’t easy to take back what we’ve been told we can’t do.
One of the reasons I think we see a lot of people with these issues is because people feel they are a victim of some sort of stigma. I heard a lot of people talking about how they felt when they read that they had to go to such and such a place to get the right medication. This is a huge step for any person in their life and I know from personal experience how difficult it is to get this medication.
It is a huge step for anyone who is in any sort of care. Because the people who have such trouble getting medication are often the ones who are the most sick and need the most help. The stigma for mental health gets a lot of it because it can be seen as a disease you need to get better off. It can also be seen as a burden that you can’t afford to take.
I hope that anyone reading this will take advantage of any medication they receive. Even if it is just for a short period of time, taking medication can be a way to manage stress and anxiety and help you focus on things you otherwise might have trouble focusing on. It can be a way to better understand the symptoms you are experiencing and help you avoid a crisis. It can be a way to learn about the disease.
There is no cure for mental health, but there are a number of things that can help. To name a few: medication, exercise, therapy, mindfulness, counseling. These things can help you manage stress, anxiety, and depression.
