I am a big believer in the idea that people are not fully aware of their physical health, nor are they fully aware of their mental health. I am not saying that people are not aware of their physical health; I am saying that they are not aware of the mental/emotional aspects of their health.
One of the biggest complaints I hear in this article about people not fully aware of their physical health is about how they feel about their mental health. “I’m just a person who can’t feel my legs,” my friend said when I asked her why she is so frustrated with her physical health.
I think it’s because I don’t know how much I can digest anything. I’m not even saying that I am a total noob. I think maybe that’s why my friend and I did this experiment and we all felt so bad about it. After a while, we just knew that if we didn’t take a break, we wouldn’t have much of a problem.
Fl? Well that one is kind of easy. If you have a medical condition then you are obviously fine. If you don’t then you are not. It just depends on how much you eat, the amount of physical activity you do, the amount of stress you are under, how much you spend on health insurance, your sleep habits, or the amount of drugs you take. But like I said, it’s like a disease.
That’s right, you are not as healthy as you think you are. But as a society we do tend to have the disease of being more concerned with the symptoms of our health than what causes them, which is why you read the latest list of the top 5 health and fitness bloggers in the world. It’s just that all the other blogs don’t mention that they’re just as healthy as we are.
There’s a difference between being too concerned with your personal health and being too concerned with the health of the world. Some people are just too concerned with getting an A on the health and fitness test to not take more drugs. Some people are just too concerned with not getting sick to not take a lot of vitamins. And some people are just too concerned with having enough money to not buy a ton of stuff they don’t need.
Well, this is the first time I’ve ever seen this kind of thing on the front page, so thanks for posting it. But I’m also the first to admit that I’m not going to take any advice from your blog. And I would love for you to feel free to continue talking about how healthy you are (or are not) on your own. But please, no more health advice.
The reality is that it’s probably not easy to get on time-to-do lists. It’s not like there’s an entire set of lists to do lists, and just trying to figure out which ones to add is a lot harder than it seems.
So I hope you stick to the health advice you’re giving on your blog. I’m not going to take advice. But I do hope you stick to your own personal health advice, and that you continue your on-time-to-do-lists. That being said, I’d love to hear any tips you might have for what to do when you’re running late.
