I know what you are thinking. This is a topic that I am well aware of. Health and wellness are the most talked about topics, and I have my share of questions about health and wellness. Most of these are related to the impact of food or nutrition on our bodies. One of the most common questions I get is about the relationship between eating and health. We are bombarded by advertisements all the time that tell us that eating clean and getting plenty of sleep will benefit us.
While there is no evidence that going from one extreme to another causes problems, there is a lot of evidence to suggest that the opposite is more often true. For example, excessive consumption of alcohol may actually be dangerous, because it increases our chances of contracting infections and increasing our heart rate and blood pressure. In addition to these other dangers, alcohol is a powerful stimulant which increases the desire to consume more.
On the other hand, the opposite of excessive consumption of alcohol is “minimal consumption,” which means that the body requires less alcohol in order to maintain blood-sugar levels. According to a study published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, people who drink less than the recommended amount tend to have problems with their memory, concentration, and mood.
Blood pressure is a powerful predictor of body weight. People who fall more than the recommended amount tend to have trouble with their blood-sugar levels. If your blood-sugar level is low, you will probably experience something like a crash, and you can often just look right at people you’re interested in and ask them if they have a good time.
I know I just listed blood pressure, but that’s because of its relationship to blood-sugar levels. If a person is drinking too much alcohol, they will be less likely to take a blood-pressure test, and if they don’t take it, they will have a lot more trouble concentrating. So, if you’re looking to make your job easier on yourself, you might want to consider cutting down on your alcohol intake.
I have never understood the health benefits of drinking. I mean, really? You are more likely to catch an infection if you have a drink in the evening? No. The opposite is true. Not only are you far less likely to get an infection, but it is also far more likely to kill you. I mean, you would be dead before you finished drinking even a single sip of alcohol.
Sure, I understand from the above example. I just feel like these guys were in an accident, and by accident I mean a car accident. You would think that a person who was drinking would have a better chance of surviving their car crash, but the truth is the people who drink tend to have a higher risk of dying from alcohol-related causes. It’s not a good thing either.
The problem is that alcohol (and other drugs) are often used to help people feel worse, or at least make them feel better. The fact that alcohol is such a drug is why it has been banned in many countries and even outlawed in some states. This is a big issue for some people, but for the vast majority who drink alcohol, it is a very positive thing.
But for some people, the positives outweigh the negatives. For example, in the case of people who use alcohol to help them feel worse, the positive is that it can help them relax, so its a good thing. It’s not that people who drink alcohol tend to be less healthy, though. It’s that they don’t realize their negative effects until it’s too late. It is true that the alcohol used in moderation can help a person feel better, so I don’t think that the people who use it to help them feel worse are the ones who are actually unhealthy. That said, I have seen several people who I know are drinking at parties who suffer from severe headaches and insomnia.
